Abstract

GeoGebra is widely used in teaching and learning mathematics. From the investigative tasks of the Department of Bachelor of Mathematics, it was possible to appreciate that importance is given to the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) from the problems of the professional, to the objectives of the disciplines. The above mentioned showed as the main problem that there are no details on how to use ICT in the teaching and learning process of each discipline. Some of the results obtained are collected, where it is shown how GeoGebra was used, through the CAS option. How methods and techniques used, are, observation, survey and interview that allowed verifying the situation on the employment and use of mathematical assistants in the teaching and learning of mathematics. In addition, the historical - logical and analysis - synthesis were used, which allowed an assessment of the trends in the world of the use of technology in teaching and the elaboration of the learning situations to be used was achieved.
