ICT Integration into the Curriculum; Higher Education; Undergraduate ThesisAbstract
During the period of collaboration in the Polytechnic Higher Institute of Huambo (2018-2022), several deficiencies in learning and in the use of ICT in the Computer Engineering career were identified. It was decided to articulate the orientation of undergraduate thesis with the integration of ICT, as an alternative solution to the insufficiencies identified. The orientation of the undergraduate thesis was carried out with rigor from the scientific and engineering point of view, demanding an adequate argumentation of the problems, the study of antecedents, the use of software development methodologies, the validation of the results, in other aspects. The main results were the development of four educational websites; the elaboration of the integration proposal of four professional software tools, an educational software and a programming language, with their respective systems of activities for its use. In addition, a tutorial was developed to support the training of teachers in the production of digital teaching materials and a study of the perception of Computer Science students about the use of the Moodle platform.
